Notel Launches Comprehensive Quality and Speed Tests for Mobile Internet in Poland Using Drive Test Method

Notel is commencing a series of comprehensive quality and speed tests for mobile internet in Poland in the second half of 2024.
Notel’s specialists will revisit major Polish cities to examine and evaluate the performance of popular applications such as YouTube, Netflix, TikTok, and social media platforms, as well as M2M Voice. The quality and speed of connections for Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp, widely used in daily team communication, will also be assessed.
For these measurements, Notel will use the advanced TEMS Paragon software, with a test setup consisting of 12 Samsung S23+ and S24 Ultra phones. These tests will serve as a benchmark, comparing the quality of services from Poland’s four main mobile operators in real-time. This approach will allow us to determine which operator offers the best services in a given area.
The planned route for 2024 includes visits to several key cities and regions, with measurements scheduled as follows:
- Q3 2024: Warsaw, Tricity, Poznań
- Q4 2024: Upper Silesian Industrial Region (GOP), Białystok
